  1. Salcombe Town FC was re-formed in 2010 by local twin brothers Nick and Chris Bonnet, along with the help of Ben Guest.
  2. The club has enjoyed four promotions in their six seasons so far and are currently sitting top of Division Two.
  3. They play at The Berry at the top of Salcombe in standing out in red and white striped shirts, white shorts and red socks.
  4. The club badge features a crab in keeping with Salcombe’s heritage and Salcombe Rugby Club who also use the crab as their symbol.
  5. The club consists of mainly local players who come from the Salcombe area (in fact, six of the original squad still remain) but they welcome anyone who wants to get involved.
  6. They’re a talented bunch as you might expect, but to illustrate the point, one of their latest signings is Ashley Yeoman who enjoyed a long spell at Torquay United.
  7. Island Street Bar & Grill is a regular match day sponsor of Salcombe Town FC - so cheers to them next time you visit!
