Matt Sellors

Having previously fronted Bristol-based band Yes Sir Boss, and having shared the stage with award winning artists including Joss Stone, CeeLo Green, Madness and Paloma Faith, Matt Sellors has now launched a solo career and has been tipped as one to watch by BBC Introducing.

Vocally he has been compared to Paulo Nutini, Eddie Vedder and Kings Of Leon, thanks to his distinct, deep and rich voice which offers a disarming, soulful experience.

Key influences include Tom Waits, Eddie Vedder, Van Morrison, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Tallest Man On Earth, Otis Redding, Ray Charles, Nick Cave, Arcade Fire, Modest Mouse, Leonard Cohen, Ben Harper and Howlin’ Wolf.

Matt will be performing at Island Street Bar & Grill on 17th Match at 9.30pm

Tom Baker

Hailing from Plymouth, Tom Baker is a creative acoustic artist, and after numerous television and radio appearances as well as frequent festival bookings, his career is gathering momentum.  An advocate of Plymouth’s local talent, he has organised and hosted numerous events including a scouted audition night for BBC1's show The Voice.

BBC Introducing tipped Tom as one to watch in 2016, rewarding him with the coveted upload of the week in January and also featuring him live on BBC Radio Devon.  His debut single is the story of a hard working musician and the struggles to maintain a healthy relationship.

Tom will be performing at Island Street Bar & Grill on 24th Match at 10pm

Far Cry

Thrown together by fate, Far Cry is a group of four intrepid North Cornwall souls who set out on a journey to bring alternative indie pop rock covers to the South West.

Choosing songs that you might not expect to hear from a covers band and adding their own Far Cry twist, they cover bands including The 1975, Maroon 5, Counting Crows, Swedish House Mafia, Coldplay, RHCP, Bruno Mars, The Killers, Gorillaz and Radiohead.

There’s something for everyone!

Freshly Squeezed

With fans including BBC Introducing, Joss Stone and the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, they are a lively crowd pleaser with a huge CV of high profile shows to their name from London to Manchester.

Influences include Cymande, The Bees, Soulive, Soil & Pimp Sessions, The Rebirth, Maceo Parker, Van Morrison, Steely Dan, Quintessence, James Taylor Quartet, Medesky Martin and Wood, John Schofield, Brecker Brothers, Courtney Pine and Candy Dulfer.

Freshly Squeezed will be performing at Island Street Bar & Grill on 28th April at 10pm

The Mighty Peas

A three man bad from Bristol and Bath, The Mighty Peas originally consisted of The Mysterious Boydsterous Macaroni and Jose Pepe Branston Pickles III. Unwilling to sit back and watch them have all the fun, Tommy Steelfingers stepped in to add the rumble of his bass fiddle and so they have marched on for more than seven years, performing their unique brand of skiffle, jazz, comedy covers of popular classics and theme tunes at clubs, festivals, streets and bars across the UK with regular appearances at Glastonbury and on the radio.

The Mighty Peas will be performing at Island Street Bar & Grill on 6th May at 10pm
